TOUR Championship 2026 at East Lake Golf Club
The FedExCup Playoffs finale brings the PGA Tour's top 30 players to historic East Lake Golf Club for the season's last tournament. Kids 15 and under get free grounds admission with each ticketed adult, so it works for the whole family. Daily grounds tickets start at $35.
The R&B Lovers Tour: Keith Sweat, Joe, Dru Hill & Ginuwine
Four of R&B's most enduring voices share one stage for a night of classic hits. Keith Sweat, Joe, Dru Hill, and Ginuwine bring the sounds of the 90s and early 2000s to State Farm Arena. A throwback show that will have the whole crowd singing along.
Asake: In God We Trust World Tour
The Nigerian Afrobeats superstar brings his world tour to Atlanta for a high-energy showcase of the global reach of African music. One of the most anticipated international tours to hit the city this year, with the energy that fans have come to expect.
Vegan Life Festival
A free, family-friendly celebration of plant-based living featuring vegan food vendors, cruelty-free products, live entertainment, free health screenings, and clean-living talks. A welcoming community event in West Atlanta on the last Sunday of the month.
VinylCon! Atlanta
A two-day vinyl record fair with more than 50 vendors, crate-digging culture, and legendary DJs spinning throughout the weekend. Whether you are a serious collector or just love the ritual of flipping through records, this is a rewarding way to spend a day.

The R&B Lovers Tour: Keith Sweat, Joe, Dru Hill & Ginuwine
Saturday, Aug 29 at 8:00 PM. Four R&B legends on one stage. Keith Sweat, Joe, Dru Hill, and Ginuwine deliver a night of classic 90s and 2000s hits. Expect the venue to be full and the energy to be high.
Asake: In God We Trust World Tour
Sunday, Aug 30 at 8:30 PM (doors 7:30 PM). The Nigerian Afrobeats superstar brings his world tour to Atlanta for a high-energy showcase of the global reach of African music.
Eslabon Armado
Saturday, Aug 29 at 8:00 PM. The Mexican-American music phenomenon brings their regional Mexican sound to the historic Tabernacle. A big draw for fans of the genre.
Yacht Rock Revue
Saturday, Aug 29. Atlanta's own Yacht Rock Revue brings the smooth sounds of the 70s and 80s to one of the city's best outdoor venues. Pack a low-back chair and settle in under the trees at Chastain.
Kamelot w/ Visions of Atlantis
Saturday, Aug 29 at 6:00 PM. Symphonic metal from two powerhouse bands at the Masquerade. Kamelot headlines with support from Visions of Atlantis for an evening of theatrical, orchestral metal.
Flux Pavilion
Saturday, Aug 29. The UK bass producer brings a high-energy electronic set to the intimate Believe Music Hall. Expect a packed room and a heavy, bass-driven night in Little Five Points.

Green Market at Piedmont Park
One of Atlanta's best-loved Saturday markets, set right in the middle of Piedmont Park. Fresh seasonal produce, local meats, eggs, artisan bread, and hot food, all against the backdrop of the Midtown skyline. Bring a blanket and make a morning of it.
Peachtree Road Farmers Market
Over 70 local farmers, producers, and artists every Saturday. Seasonal produce, artisan bread, fresh flowers, local honey, and prepared foods, with live music and a children's area. One of Atlanta's most established markets and a great food-focused stop.
Oakhurst Farmers Market
A neighborhood market in Decatur with local produce, artisan foods, baked goods, and crafted goods alongside local beer. A relaxed Saturday morning in the heart of the Oakhurst community.
Vegan Life Festival Food Vendors
The food lineup at the Vegan Life Festival brings together local plant-based vendors for a Sunday afternoon of eating and exploring. Try vegan takes on your favorites, plus cruelty-free products and live entertainment. Free to attend.

Zoo Atlanta: Play the Animal Way
Saturday, Aug 29, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. A zoo-wide celebration of animal enrichment with interactive activities showcasing the creative work behind the objects, sounds, scents, and activities that keep Zoo Atlanta's animals thriving. A fun, educational day for the whole family.
Interactive Movies on the Green
Saturday, Aug 29, 7:00 – 9:00 PM. A free, family-friendly movie night on the green in Crabapple Market in Milton, with free interactive kits for early arrivals. Bring a blanket and settle in for an evening under the stars.
Saturday Adventures at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights
Saturday, Aug 29, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. A program designed for families to explore the Center's galleries and exhibits together, with hands-on, age-appropriate activities. A meaningful, thought-provoking outing for older kids and teens.
Wild Kratts: Ocean Adventure at Children's Museum
Ongoing through Sept 13. An interactive exhibit using Wild Kratts technology and science to explore ocean habitats. Ideal for younger kids who love the PBS series. Hands-on learning in a fun, engaging environment.
TOUR Championship Family Day
All weekend, Aug 29-30. Kids 15 and under get free grounds admission with each ticketed adult at the FedExCup finale. An accessible introduction to championship golf for young sports fans, set on one of the PGA Tour's most storied courses.
Outdoor & Nature
Atlanta's tree canopy and river access make outdoor recreation easy, even inside the perimeter. Here are the trails, parks, and outdoor experiences worth your time this week:
East Palisades Trail & Bamboo Forest
One of the best hiking trails inside the perimeter. Follow the river through bamboo forests and along bluffs with water views. The trail connects to a riverside beach area where you can wade in the Chattahoochee. Best visited in the morning before the heat sets in.
Atlanta BeltLine, Eastside Trail
Walk, jog, or bike the BeltLine's most popular stretch. The trail passes murals, parks, restaurants, and some of Atlanta's most dynamic neighborhoods. Summer weekends are busy, but the energy is part of the experience. Stop at Krog Street Market along the way.
Arabia Mountain Guided Nature Hike
Weekend guided hikes led by park naturalists covering the unique geology and ecology of Arabia Mountain's granite monadnock. Stunning summit views, rare plants, and a landscape unlike anywhere else in Metro Atlanta. Free.
Chattahoochee River NRA Parking Pass Perks
Through Aug 30. Show your Chattahoochee River NRA annual or daily parking pass at participating local shops and restaurants for discounts. A great reason to explore a river access point you have not visited yet before the perk window closes.
Stone Mountain Summit Hike
A classic Atlanta outing any day of the weekend. Hike to the summit of Stone Mountain for sweeping views of the Atlanta skyline and the Piedmont region, then take the Skyride down. Arrive early on weekends, before the heat and the crowds build.

Atlanta's cultural scene punches well above its weight. World-class museums, live theater, gallery districts, and historic landmarks. Here is what to catch this week:
BronzeLens Film Festival
Through Sunday, Aug 30. An annual film festival celebrating the work of filmmakers and artists of color, with premieres, panels, and workshops throughout the weekend. A key date on Atlanta's cultural calendar and a homegrown festival with real national reach.
Walter Wick's Hidden Wonders at the High Museum
Now open through Jan 3, 2027. A new exhibit featuring the photographer behind the beloved I SPY children's book series. Intricate, whimsical tabletop dioramas and photographs that have captivated readers for decades. A family-friendly exhibit with serious artistic merit.
From The Ashes: Birth and Rise of Hip Hop
Thursday through Sunday, Aug 27-30. A theatrical work tracing the birth and evolution of hip-hop culture through music, dance, and storytelling. An energetic, original production in the heart of Little Five Points, closing this weekend.
Choir Boy at Actor's Express
Final performances through Aug 30. The Tony Award-winning play by Tarell Alvin McCraney follows a young gay Black student at a prestigious prep school choir academy. A powerful, moving production at one of Atlanta's best intimate theatres. Last chance to catch it.
3 Redneck Tenors: Broadway Bound
Sunday, Aug 30 at 3:00 PM. A comedic musical journey from opera to Broadway with the hilarious and talented 3 Redneck Tenors. A fun Sunday afternoon show in historic Marietta Square.
